BILL Wiggin, MP for Leominster, became a father for the second time on New Year's Eve when his wife Milly gave birth to a son.
Jack William Wiggin was born by caesarean section at Hereford County Hospital, weighing 8lbs 7oz.
Mr Wiggin said: "The staff at Hereford were magnificent. They took enormous trouble to ensure that Milly received the best possible care. The operation, which involved quite a large number of people, went extremely smoothly.
"Mr David Mowbray, the consultant who delivered Jack, is fantastic. We cannot praise him highly enough. He also delivered our first child, Rosie, who was born in the old hospital three years ago. She is delighted to have a little brother."
