A NURSERY is dining out on its latest award for delicious meals.
London Road Nursery, on Green Hill, London Road, has won a Heartbeat Award, from Worcester City Council and the NHS for providing nutritious meals for youngsters in a hygienic environment.
Nursery Manager, Jo Teague, said the children really enjoyed the meals cooked by in-house cook Karen Webb.
"The children have a well-balanced nutritious meal which is freshly cooked every day on the premises," said Ms Teague.
The Health Education Authority and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health created the Heartbeat Awards.
For an organisation to qualify, they have to pass 20 dietary, environmental and hygiene standards.
