PROSPECTIVE students can take a closer look at University College Worcester at an open evening next week.

Anyone interested in full or part-time study can look at courses which start later this month or in September, while lecturers and staff will be giving talks on the hundreds of options available.

Undergraduate and postgraduate study in everything from archaeology, psychology and computing to nursing, teaching and social care is on offer.

Taster modules are also available for those unsure about studying at degree level so that they can see how study fits in with their family or work commitments.

"People can meet informally with tutors, get advice on entry requirements and fees, on combining courses, and professional development opportunities," said Pam Stubbs, head of marketing at the Henwick Grove college.

"University College Worcester is a warm and welcoming place. We have many mature students and young people studying with us, many studying part-time."

UCW's campus, in St John's, Worcester, will be open to visitors on Tuesday, January 11 between 5pm and 8pm.
