MATCH-winning teenager Simon Russell earned the praise of Kidderminster Harriers assistant boss Gary Barnett after his goal earned them a vital Coca-Cola Two win.
Harriers are now just four points behind third-from-bottom Rushden following a 2-1 win over play-off hopefuls Lincoln.
Blair Sturrock struck first for Harriers before Russell, aged 19, slid home a second-half winner, after a fine one-two with Dean Keates.
Russell's goal follows his first for the club in the 2-0 win at Oxford last month.
Barnett said: "We've been on at Simon about end product for quite a number of weeks.
"The goal at Oxford gave him massive confidence and the goal on Saturday will hopefully push him on again. He's also creating chances for other players in the attacking third which is only going to benefit us."
