A GOAL down and with Leon Blake dismissed on 67 minutes, Evesham must have thought it was not going to be their day.
But Clarke had other ideas and pounced in the last 20 minutes with two clinical finishes to put United's promotion challenge back on song.
Missing key players through illness and injury, Evesham again were not firing on all cylinders but it was a welcome three points and keeps them in touch with the top.
The first-half was a dour affair and only came to life in the first seconds.
First, Bracknell 'keeper Andrew Poyser did well to block a point-blank shot from Clarke.
Then, from Simon Fitter's resulting corner, Poyser made a fabulous save to push over Richard Ball's stunning volley.
Despite playing against a strong wind in the second-half, Bracknell broke the deadlock in the 51st minute.
The Evesham defence ball watched as Danny Oliphant delivered a free-kick from the left and Gavin Smith rose unchallenged at the far post to head in.
Worse was to follow for United when Blake was red carded following a mass brawl.
This, however, seemed to kick-start the Robins and within three minutes they drew level.
Clarke chased a bouncing through-ball and bravely lofted a header over Poyser from ten yards.
Winner
Evesham stepped up their search for a winner and it duly arrived with the last move of the game.
Clarke showed his predatory instincts by latching onto Stuart Hamilton's pass and holding off the challenge of a couple of defenders before slotting home past the advancing Poyser.
