GENEROUS regulars at a Worcester pub have donated £250 to the tsunami appeal.
The Bedwardine, in Bromyard Road, collected the cash in charity boxes left on the bar on New Year's Eve, over the weekend and Bank Holiday Monday.
The St John's pub often donates money to Acorns Children's Hospice and the Air Ambulance, as well as supporting Children in Need, and landlords Jenny and Richard Watkins wanted to do their bit in the wake of the natural disaster.
"We do other collections but this was a one-off event and we wanted to help out," said Mr Watkins.
"The majority of the money was collected on New Year's Eve and we want to thank our customers."
The Asian tsunami has left more than 150,000 dead and cash donations from the British public look set to top the £100m mark.
