GOALKEEPER Danny McDonnell be-lieves Worcester City owe their supporters an improved performance in Saturday's FA Trophy third round clash at holders Hednesford Town.
McDonnell's display in goal was the one positive note for City during the disappointing 2-2 Nationwide North draw against Ashton at St George's Lane.
McDonnell said: "We let the manager down against Ashton, let ourselves down and let the supporters down.
"Sometimes it just happens. Everybody goes out there with the intention of doing their best. We've got to forget about it and not let it become a millstone around the neck."
City's reserves visit Bromsgrove Rovers for a Central Conference Cup clash tonight (7.45).
