MALVERN Town put their promotion credentials on the line tonight as they prepare for one of their biggest matches of the season.
Town face Travel Factory Alliance promotion hopefuls Stourbridge at the Langland Stadium (7.45pm).
Manager Neil Hunt believes the match is a good guide to his team's progression since last season's rise from the West Midlands Premier Division.
"It's a massive game for the club because it will show us how far we have come," he said.
"If we win it puts us into fourth which is fantastic for the club. They are a good physical side and are a decent team."
Malvern go into the game on the back of Saturday's 5-3 victory at Stratford, a result that went down well with the boss.
"We have lost two league games on the bounce which we haven't done all season," Hunt said. "Saturday's result was a fantastic result just to bounce back."
Malvern are enjoying an excellent season since winning promotion. They have lost just six times in the league and Hunt believes he has the players to finish in the top six although he admits the club would settle for less.
"If we can establish ourselves as a mid-table side everybody would be happy," he added. "At the end of the day we are still trying to compete at the level we are in."
