THE Salvation Army band in Worcester has raised £1,000 for survivors of the Asian Tsunami disaster.
The band played for two hours outside Debenhams in High Street in the city centre on Saturday.
Salvation Army spokesman, Captain Scott Conliffe, was delighted with the response.
"We felt we should do something for the victims of this terrible tragedy and we are thrilled with the generosity of Worcester residents," he said.
