FOLK music fans can get the New Year off to a toe-tapping start with a singin' and suppin' evening at Bromsgrove Folk Club tomorrow.
Spokesman for the club, Bob Bignell, said: "This gives all of our members, some of whom have not seen each other since last year, the chance to share any new songs and/or stories that they have learned during the break."
He added: "It is an informal night and very friendly and is the ideal environment for newcomers who, as ever at 'the friendliest folk club in the Midlands', are more than welcome."
The night at Bromsgrove Rugby Club on Finstall Road, will take place 'in the round' to encourage people who are shy to get up in front of an audience and feel more happy to share their talents from the safety and comfort of their own seat.
But Bob added: "Not that you have to share your talents - no pressure is put on those who are there to watch and listen."
Entry is £3 for non-members and doors open at 8.15pm.
