LOVERS of choral music should make a date in their diary for celebrations in Kidderminster to mark the 150th birthday of the town hall.
The celebrations will begin in March with two performances of a new composition by Geoff Cummings-Knight, called 'Seven Rides for Seven Lovers', telling the story of the Severn Valley railway.
It will be performed by choirs from local schools, with the Wyre Forest Young Voices, on March 4 and 5 at Kidderminster Town Hall on Vicar Street.
Tickets are £5 and are available from 01562 60112.
The rest of the year is packed with exciting musical events put on by the Kidderminster Choral Society. More information can be found at www.kidderminsterchoralsociety.co.uk
