THESE seven puppies are the latest cute recruits for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
It is Labrador Molly's sixth and final litter and within weeks her pups will be taken away to begin training to become guide dogs.
Kathy Allen, from St Anne's Road, Claines, who, with husband, Brendon, has owned Molly to breed guide dogs for six years, still calls the moment the puppies leave "heartbreaking".
"At the end of day, each one of these puppies is the eyes of someone else, so I know that this is all for a great cause," she said.
"For the six weeks until they leave me, I have to feed them five times a day, check their health and make sure their weight is OK.
"You become attached to them, so it's heartbreaking when they leave to be trained."
The Guide Dogs for the Blind association is appealing for more volunteers to home their brood-bitches in Worcester.
"Our volunteer brood-bitch holders have the reward of knowing they are playing a major part in rearing the next generation of guide dogs, as well as having the companionship of the dog and its puppies," said Erica Cromack of the association.
