Bromsgrove Colts 0 Luctonians RFC Colts 19
A BURST of tries in the second half ensured the under strength Boars crashed to defeat on Sunday.
Bromsgrove, missing several first team players, had went into the match aiming to make it four wins in a row.
However, they found Luctonians too-hot-to-handle as their resistance ended in the second half.
Without Tom Rostrup, Warren Oliver and Jamie Dignam Bromsgrove were lacking their usual cutting edge, but still managed to frustrate Luctonians in a scoreless first half.
Bromsgrove though were unable to respond to a try early in the second half.
With the game slipping through their fingers, Bromsgrove tried to kick their way out of trouble, but only succeeded in giving the ball to their opponents.
A second converted try handed the Boars a mountain to climb if they wanted to get back into the game
James Upton was then sin-binned for a high tackle, before Luctonians sealed a miserable day for Bromsgrove with the final touch down.
