THE BOARS overcame a poor start to the game to comfortably defeat their Black Country rivals.
Bromsgrove allowed Walsall to take a 7-0 lead early on, but hit back almost immediately.
Winger Jones pulled Bromsgrove within two points with a try after mounting pressure from his side.
Wainman put Bromsgrove ahead with a try which Talbot converted.
Bromsgrove were keeping Walsall pinned back and Hewitt ensured the pressure told when he touched down to make it 17-7.
Audley and McGregory then finished off their opponents with two clinical tries.
Bromsgrove take on Stourbridge away from home on Sunday (11am start).
