A LATE winner denied Rubery into the final of the Ken Parfitt Cup on Sunday as they lost 3-2 to Oak Heath Sports.
Rubery had produced a gutsy performance to come from two goals down in the second half.
However, as the game seemed to be heading towards extra-time Oak Heath grabbed a late winner.
Rubery had been forced to raise their game after going in at half-time 2-0 down, but goals for Andy Wilkins and Gary Davis had given them hope.
In the BSA Cup round two Rednal Social were edged out 3-2 by Greenlands Select, while Fairfield Sunday went down 3-1 to Headless Cross in the Terry Cup round three.
Hogshead defeat Westbury Celtic 3-0 and Black Horse beat Hazelwell 7-1.
In the Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League Premier Division West Heath Snooker defeated South Redditch 5-2, while Hoolahans comfortably overcame Thorn 6-2 in Division One.
