LIGHT-footed folk are invited to step away those surplus Christmas pounds in two new dance classes being put on at the Spadesbourne Suite in Bromsgrove.
Dance company 'Feel the Rhythm' is hoping to capitalise on the current trend for ballroom dancing after the success of BBC television programme Strictly Come Dancing.
And now adults can groove the night away with a 'Latin Spirit' ten-week course, which gives a taster of Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba and Samba.
It will run on Thursday evenings from tomorrow at the Spadesbourne Suite, Burcot Lane, at 7pm.
Organiser Melanie Ballard said: "It is designed for complete beginners and is a great chance to learn a new skill whilst exercising too."
For children there will be a 'Pop Dance' class before the adults' class on Thursday evenings at 6pm for children aged between six and 12 wanting to learn all the latest routines danced by their favourite pop stars on music videos and live performances.
Melanie added: "This is a very popular class running in many areas and no previous dance experience is required. Why not give one of the classes a go and shed some of the mince pie pounds from Christmas!"
