Sue Mayne welcomed two visitors and one new member to Lickey WI's first meeting of 2005, which was held at the parish hall last Tuesday.
Dates and destinations were announced of three coach outings planned for later in the year and possible theatre visits were discussed. Janet Coe organised a beetle drive to start the New Year off with an enjoyable social activity. The highest score of the evening was achieved by Chris O'Toole. A raffle was drawn. The competition for A Bulb Bowl was won by Janet Gorton. At the next meeting on Tuesday, February 1, Ed Shaw will describe 'taking my car and caravan overland to India' and the competition will be a model car or caravan.
