ARTS AND CRAFTS SOCIETY: The society meets each month on the third Tuesday at 7.30pm in the Townsend Hall.
The programme for the year 2005-6 includes demonstrations by artists in watercolour, pastels and Chinese art; a teach-in on photography as an art and lectures on textiles, 20th century architecture, fine art and outings to study art and craft.
The speaker for February 15 is Tim Porter on Medieval Purbeck Marble.
