TWO of Britain's top actors are coming together to perform two great roles at Malvern.
Nicholas Lyndhurst, of Only Fools and Horses fame, and Julian Glover, distinguished stage and screen actor, are starring in Ronald Harwood's The Dresser, a portrait of backstage life, made famous as a film with Tom Courtenay and Albert Finney.
The story involves the two characters, the ageing actor/manager, Sir, and his dresser Norman, preparing for Sir's 227th performance of King Lear while bombs rain down on war-torn Britain.
The first major revival of one of modern theatre's most acclaimed plays is at Malvern's Festival Theatre from January 24 to 29.
