STOURPORT kickboxer Shaun Bradley is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his cousin by becoming world champion.
The 15-year-old took another step towards fulfilling his ambition by clinching the WUMA British under-16 semi-contact crown.
And the Stourport High pupil is hoping to further enhance his growing reputation with success at the Irish open in Dublin in March.
Bradley, whose cousin Drew Neal is the British, European and World champion, is also training five times a week for the Cadet World Championships later this year.
His father Steve said: "He's very determined and he's worked hard for his success.
"It's quite a competitive standard because there are a lot of talented kids in his category.
"He's making the step up to the adult age group soon so he will have to be even more dedicated."
Bradley has started running Korean kickboxing coaching sessions at Burlsih Middle School on Mondays and Thursdays.
