A DROITWICH charity that offers first aid at local events has been given free off-road training.
The Land Rover Experience, based at Eastnor Castle, has put volunteers from Chiron Ambulance through their paces.
The charity, founded last April, provides first aid and ambulance services in the community.
Most of the work the charity undertakes is off-road, at events such as motorbike championships, where the terrain is harsh.
"We needed training in off-road driving, which is quite a different skill to road driving," said Kathy Fulloway, executive chairwoman of Chiron Ambulance.
"Land Rover Experience has been great in helping us achieve this for all our drivers."
The Land Rover Experience course, set in 5000 acres of Eastnor Castle's grounds, provides off road challenges where fully qualified instructors can teach drivers the basic skills they need.
