JEWELLERY worth £2,300 was stolen during a burglary in Kidderminster.
The thief climbed a waste pipe to get in through a rear first floor bathroom window of a house in Barnetts Lane at about 3.40pm on Friday.
Included in the haul was a 200-year-old Hunter pocket watch, worth £200, that had a silver chain and separate winding key, which was fixed to the chain.
Also taken were a gold necklace, with a single large diamond, worth £1,000, various other gold and silver necklaces, including an amber one, valued at a combined £1,000 plus an inscribed necklace worth £50.
A cash box valued at £50 was also stolen.
