AN amateur photographer is showing off his work to give an insight into Bromsgrove's past.
Keen lensman Michael Crane, from Cloverdale, Stoke Prior, is displaying a collection of photographs at Bromsgrove Library, Stratford Road, until January 28.
The display includes shots of Bromsgrove in the 1960s, Bromsgrove and district prints, and finally the added bonus of pictures of Bromsgrove's beautiful bird population.
The 70-year-old, who was brought a camera by his dad when he was only 17, said: "I just want to bring a little bit of pleasure to the people who visit the library.
"Hopefully, the photographs will trigger a memory for those who were around at the time or act as an insight to those who weren't."
The display features pictures of the Court Leet and past councillors, as well as The George Hotel, in St John Street, which is now Blockbuster Video.
Also included in the exhibition is the oldest house in Bromsgrove, in Worcester Road, now the site of Neale's Garage, before it was moved to Avoncroft.
