CELEBRATIONS were in store for a woman who racked up 25 years' service with Marks and Spencer.
Bev Newey, manager of the company's Weavers Wharf branch in Kidderminster, joined the firm in 1979.
Her long service was recognised in an awards ceremony in London and she was treated to champagne and a visit to a West End show.
A previous report in the Shuttle/Times and News on Mrs Newey's long service was accompanied by the wrong photograph, which had been supplied to the newspaper in error by Marks and Spencer's public relations company.
