FOUR barns in the Worcestershire countryside are set to be converted into homes after planners gave the scheme the green light.
An application was submitted with Malvern Hills District Council for the development at Bank Farm in Little Witley, near Worcester.
The site is located at the end of a long single-track road off the A443 near Little Witley and some of the barns in the area have already been converted to residential use.
Bank Farm comprises a number of listed barns around a courtyard with a mixture of modern farm buildings and the listed farmhouse itself to the west.
The proposal involves the removal of the existing farm buildings on the site and the conversion and alteration of the remaining listed buildings.
Planners gave the thumbs-up to the application at a meeting of the district council's northern area development control committee.
Car parking is set to be provided in the courtyard area and there are also two garages included in the scheme.
