AFRICAN dance and culture kept children at a Droitwich school entertained for a day.
Pupils at Cutnall Green First School took part in an African Day workshop on Wednesday.
African costumes, traditional instruments, toys and fruit were all used to help children understand about the diverse culture.
"The children looked at natural resources found in Africa and what they might be used for. For instance, plant materials are used to make instruments," said school spokeswoman Julie Woodhouse.
"A story was read to the children with Patou accents and they sang traditional songs and played traditional instruments.
"They had a really enjoyable day and learned a lot about a different culture," she added.
