Tomorrow there will be a village coffee morning arranged at short notice in aid of the south-east Asia Appeal. Come if you can, it will also be a chance to meet Kate at the newly re-opened village shop and welcome her to Bosbury. The venue is the parish hall, 10.30am-noon.
On Sunday at Holy Trinity Bosbury, holy communion is at 8am and children's church at 10am.
The parish council meets on Friday, January 21, at 7.30pm at the parish hall. Parishioners are welcome to attend. The open meeting yesterday was an opportunity for the village to put forward ideas and aims for the future of Bosbury.
Bosbury's past is to be celebrated during Trinity weekend - Friday, May 20, to Sunday, May 22. Most of you will remember the very successful flower festival of 1999 and plans are in hand for a three-day event on the theme of memories of the village 60 years ago. In addition to the church flower festival, under discussion are a village concert, an exhibition of memorabilia, including written recollections of village life and an arts and crafts exhibition.
