THE Bath Society of Artists will have work on show at Malvern Theatres from Monday (January 17).
Theatres curator Bill Nicholls visited the group's annual show and chose 12 paintings he thought would appeal to audiences.
"It's a very well-established and very well-thought of society," said Mr Nicholls, who is also curator of Malvern's Cowleigh Gallery.
This is the sixth year that exhibitions have been organised for the theatres and Mr Nicholls said they had really taken off.
"It's surprising how word gets around. It's probably down to the fact that the theatre itself is very well known," he said.
Past exhibitors have included the Royal West Academy and the Royal Society of Wildlife Painters and Mr Nicholls said an exhibition by the Royal Institute of Oil Painters was in the pipeline.
