RADAR returned to their winning ways with an emphatic Worcester League division two victory over visitors Littleworth last Sunday.
MALVERN RADAR 6, LITTLEWORTH 0
A second-half hat-trick from Lee Hooper finally secured the points after a fairly even first period.
Stout defending by Littleworth centre backs Paul Briggs and Jeff Woodward kept their team in the game and they almost took the lead when a great 30-yard rocket from Rich Adams crashed against the bar.
Radar took the lead after 20 minutes when Lee Hooper was put through by Lee Brookes and he made no mistake. Brookes then had a goal ruled out for off-side before he made it 2-0 with a close range finish.
Littleworth nearly pulled a deserved goal back right on half-time, Nick Buckley's shot came back off the bar and Danny Bellamy headed goalward only to be denied by Darren Baker, who hooked the ball off the line.
Radar had the wind in their favour in the second half and Hooper added two goals, including a penalty, to make it 4-0. Darren Loader scored with a great 18-yard shot into the top corner and Hooper completed the scoring when he evaded three challenges and toe-poked the ball wide of the advancing keeper.
Radar keeper Chris Ball was called into action late on and did well to deny Bellamy and Mark Haynes.
Radar play their 12th league game this Sunday and it will be their 10th home game when CMB Sports are the visitors. Radar meet at 9.45am at Victoria Park.
