A REMAKE of the classic 60s film The Manchurian Candidate opens at Malvern Cinema today (Friday). Starring Denzel Washington, Meryl Streep and Liev Schreiber, the film is brought up-to-date with giant corporations replacing communists as the new bogeymen. It runs until Thursday, January 20, at 7.30pm with matinees on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday at 4pm.
