THE Sunday newspapers recently ran a story saying that Charles Kennedy's party, the Lib Dems, would allow asylum seekers to work, pay National Insurance, and then be paid a British state pension. Even if they move away from England (back to their own country) they would receive this pension.
This is another open door for all and sundry to enter our already vastly overcrowded island taking advantage of a "perk" paid for by the British taxpayer.
The very first duty of the Government of any country is to look after its people. Why does Britain get politicians who look after foreigners far more than the indigenous population?
Fellow pensioners will remember the 75p pension increase. Just who can you vote for?
