RABBIT breeders, ribbons and rot proofing - now you can add recycling to the "Rs" you find in the Yellow Pages.
The company behind the directory is backing Worcester City Council's drive to have old copies recycled rather than dumped in rubbish bins.
More than 40,000 copies of the guide's latest edition are being delivered around Worcester.
Hannah Phoenix, assistant environmental protection officer at the council, urged households to help the city meet strict goals.
"Around half of all Worcester homes separate their domestic waste into refuse and recyclables, a figure we need to boost if we're to meet Government targets. The message is simple - we must do more, so let's start with the Yellow Pages," she said.
Old directories collected in the purple kerbside recycling bags will be sorted at a materials reclamation facility before being turned into newspaper.
The copies can also be left at blue paper banks at recycling centres across the city.
