WORCESTERSHIRE'S Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy second round match against Herefordshire will now be played tomorrow at New Road.
The two counties agreed to the switch after rain prevented any play today at Luctonians' Mortimer Park ground in Kingsland, with little hope of improvement tomorrow.
Worcestershire's Director of Cricket Tom Moody said: "The ground here is in a very poor condition because of the rain they have had.
"Obviously with us being a first-class county we have got the advantage of more covering and staff.
"Both parties felt there was more chance of a game tomorrow with our covering."
The ground was saturated with heavy rain during the morning adding to the bleak soggy conditions.
Surface water lay on the outfields and the ground was virtually deserted at the scheduled 10.45am start time.
Admission for tomorrow's match at New Road will be free.
