WORCESTERSHIRE'S Kadeer Ali was one of the England 'A' heroes in their 187-run win over the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association in Chennai today.
The New Road youngster cracked a fine 56 in his side's second innings total of 295-9 declared.
Pace bowler Simon Jones then completed a 10-wicket haul and a spectacular return to first-class cricket as England won for the first time on their tour of India.
Jones followed up his first innings 5-57 in the with 5-31 today as Tamil Nadu were shot out for 143.
Glamorgan paceman Jones, back in action after more than a year out with a serious knee injury, now looks on course to join up with the full England squad in West Indies later this month.
