His distraught wife, while on a train journey to London, had confided her problems to a train driver sharing her compartment. By chance he remembered seeing the story of a missing man in a newspaper. At the next stop she bought a copy and was thrilled to see his photo and story of how he was safe in an Oxford hospital apparently suffering from amnesia brought on by pressure of work.
