WORCESTERSHIRE Royals' master batsman Graeme Hick is aiming to put Warwickshire Bears to the sword this evening when they clash in the Twenty20 Cup at Edgbaston (5.30pm).
Free-scoring Hick has already hammered a century against the 'Old Enemy' when the sides met in a Frizzell County Championship Division One match earlier this season.
He has also been in tremendous form in the Twenty20 Cup hitting 73 against Gloucestershire Gladiators and 116 not out off the Northamptonshire attack.
Both matches ended in victory for the County who have the same number of points as Warwickshire, who top the Midlands/West/Wales Division due to a superior run rate.
Hick said: "Warwickshire are a very effective side.
"They will be well-drilled and they have got some very effective players. Hopefully there will be a good crowd, so it should be a good evening."
Paceman Kabir Ali has been added to the County's 13-strong squad after missing the opening two matches because of a slight groin strain.
Warwickshire do not anticipate Ashley Giles will be available for the game. The England management, who originally released members of the one-day squad after they were knocked out of the NatWest Series, have now decided that extra rest is required.
