STEVEN Davies will make his first team debut for Worcestershire in their limited-over match against Sri Lanka 'A' at New Road tomorrow (10.45am).
The Bromsgrove-born 18- year-old played for the County in their pre-season match against Cardiff UCCE which ended in an innings and 224 runs win. He scored 27 and held three catches.
Davies, a left-hand batsman, is a wicketkeeper although James Pipe will be behind the stumps tomorrow.
Paceman Kabir Ali is to have a fitness test on a groin strain, but is expected to play.
New Road Director of Cricket Tom Moody said: "It's a great opportunity for a few players who haven't played a lot of first team cricket this season. It also gives others the chance to get some good form."
Admission tomorrow will be free.
