WORCESTERSHIRE Royals' Twenty20 Cup match against Gloucestershire Gladiators at New Road on Friday is a sell-out
County chief executive Mark Newton said: "The success of last year's inaugural Twenty20 Cup is well documented, but we did not sell out games in advance.
"Friday's launch game of this year's competition has seen unprecedented demand for tickets from the public and we look forward to an evening of great entertainment."
Tickets, however, are still available for director of cricket Tom Moody's Twenty20 Testimonial game ag-ainst a World XI at New Road this evening (5.30pm).
Tickets are also available for the Twenty20 Cup match against Glamorgan Dragons on Thursday, July 15.
