GRAEME Hick's outstanding start to the season for Worcestershire has earned him the inaugural ZMB Developments Player of the Month Award for April/May.
He took the award ahead of skipper Ben Smith, opener Stephen Moore and pace bowler Matt Mason who have all shown fine form.
Members of the media who cover all the County's first-class and one-day matches judge the Player of the Month Award.
The leading player in the Frizzell County Championship matches receives 10 points; the second player six points and the third four points.
In all other matches the winner receives five points, the player in second place receives three points and the third player one point.
The monthly winner is the player with the highest score and the player with the highest cumulative points tally at the end of the season will take the coveted ZMB Developments Player of the Year Award.
The award will be presented to Hick at New Road during Sunday's totesport League match against Yorkshire Phoenix.
