A PROPERTY company has helped boost the coffers of a Worcester hospice that provides care and support for people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Worcester-based firm Lukel Properties organised a Christmas collection in city centre pubs, which netted a generous £280 that will go to St Richard's Hospice.
The charity, based in Rose Hill, near the city centre, is currently attempting to raise £5.25m to build a new hospice in Wildwood Drive, Spetchley, near County Hall.
The new hospice will house all the services currently provided at Rose Hill, as well as 15 specialist beds, the first of their kind in South Worcestershire.
Lukel Properties, which has offices at Lower Wick, has pledged on-going support to the charity and has previously included an appeal for donations to the new hospice fund in its property magazine distributed to 30,000 homes in the county.
St Richard's director of fund-raising, Marilyn Peachey, said: "We're very grateful to Lukel Properties for their help."
