TWO football fanatics from Worcestershire were unable to inspire Britain's worst team in their inaugural supporters' club trip.
Jon Hale and Dyl Wilkins, both from Malvern, watched East Stirlingshire endure a 3-0 humbling at home to Elgin City on Saturday.
It was the first time the pair travelled 340 miles to Scotland to watch the team after Mr Hale formed East Stirlingshire Exiles, a group of 30 football lovers who follow the country's least successful team.
They were joined by another fan, from Southampton, as they met fans and visited the club's boardroom.
"It was a cracking weekend, we really, really enjoyed it. The people up there were fantastically friendly and couldn't have done enough for us," said Mr Hale, who hopes to organise another trip next season.
"The fact that the East Stirlingshire goalkeeper got man-of-the-match gives you some idea of the tide of the game. Some of the fans said it was the worst performance of the season but it was good fun and that's the main thing."
