TREKKING the Great Wall of China or cycling across Cuba are just two of the ways Worcestershire residents could help terminally-ill cancer sufferers.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is seeking members of the public to take up the chance of a lifetime, by taking part in an overseas challenge to help raise vital funds for the charity.
There is a wide variety of trips, all over the globe, taking place throughout this year and next, including trekking to the base camp of the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest.
Penny Reeves, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire fund-raiser for the charity, said: "Whatever your interests, there is certain to be a trip that meets your needs.
"The charity also has many other challenges, which enable participants to experience some of the most beautiful and famous sites in the world, such as the Great Wall of China, the Peruvian Inca Trail, and the Taj Mahal in India.
"Signing up couldn't be more simple. Just contact me for more information and you could commence the adventure of a lifetime.
"In addition to gaining wonderful memories, participants also help to raise a great deal of money for an essential cause."
If you would like to take part in an overseas challenge, or require further information, call Ms Reeves on 01905 427531, or e-mail sian.millard@marie curie.org.uk
