THE Redditch area tops a macabre police Road Accidental Death list.
Redditch police 'B' division had more fatal accidents in July - for which figures are available - than any other area covered by West Mercia Police.
Four people died on the roads, as many as the total of four in the other five divisions.
Now police have re-iterated their message to drivers: "Let's keep death off the roads this winter."
The most accidents across the West Midlands Division happened between midnight and 7am, with Sunday the most dangerous time to be out on the road.
More accidents were caused by drivers' inattention than anything else, the statistics show.
