LEONARD Sealey, a boy living in Beoley Road, was charged with assaulting John Yates, needle pointer, of Beoley Road, on the 1st inst.
Complainant's case was that defendant, with others, were "wriggling" on his wooden fence.
He asked them to get off and all except defendant did so.
Complainant then went to get on the top of the fence and defendant threw half a brick at him, seriously cutting his face.
Defendant stated that complainant swore at him and threatened to kill him, whereupon he threw a piece of stone.
Complainant ran after him, tried to follow him into his house and wanted to fight his brother, also his father, if the latter was there.
Fined 1s, and 12s 6d costs.
