WOMEN in search of hair beauty filled Wythall Institute on Monday afternoon when the women's section of the Conservative Association invited as guest speaker Mr AFG Ferrand, manager of a Birmingham hair dressing firm.
He dealt with all the phases of hair treatment, including styling, tinting and permanent waving and stressed the many ways in which women could add to the natural beauty of their hair by simple daily care and attention in the home.
Following the talk, a number of questions were put by members of the audience and a discussion took place.
A vote of thanks was proposed by Councillor PK Suffield and the meeting concluded with refreshments served by members of the committee.
