KEMP Hospice took a further step towards moving into its new home after councillors approved the latest building plans.
The charity was given permission to build the extensions at Cedar House, as long as neighbours approved of revised parking arrangements.
The former hotel, in Mason Road, Kidderminster, is being redesigned since the hospice was given permission by Wyre Forest District Council's planning (development control) committee in 2002 to move in.
This latest application - approved by committee members on Thursday - is to provide an in-patient facility and therapy and physiotherapy rooms.
