REDDITCH residents fighting plans to build a warehouse and offices near their homes have lost the first round of their fight.
A top council officer's report is recommending that proposals for the warehouse - which would back onto the Studley Road - should be given the go-ahead.
Residents feel that the warehouse would be noisy and dirty and would overshadow their homes.
And it would encroach on land used by motorists going to Studley Road Social Club, leading to increased parking on the roadside.
But a report by the council chief planning officer's department says that the site is earmarked as an industrial development zone.
