FATAL accident - Henry Malin, employed by Mr Clement Haynes, Lea End, met with a fatal accident on Thursday evening at exceptional circumstances.
The deceased was in the company of Mr Heynes as wagoner, and in the evening was attending his horses prior to going home, when one of the animals kicked him on the leg, a leg which had been injured some time previously.
The deceased, seeing the nature of the wound, went to the house of Mr Lynch, close by, for assistance. Then Mr Lynch immediately called in Dr Gaunt, but when the doctor arrived the unfortunate man was found to have succumbed to his injuries.
