A WORCESTER-based computer systems company has increased its annual turnover by £2m by merging with another business.
BDE Group announced it has acquired 100 per cent of the share capital of the London-based Object Group.
The new enlarged business, which will now be known as BDE International, employs more than 55 people in four offices - Bristol, London, Leeds and Worcester, and has a turnover in excess of £5.5m - £2m more than before.
As part of the merger, BDE International, which provides Sage Enterprise software solutions, has appointed Peter Reynolds as its chairman while his counterpart at Object Group, John Linney, joins as managing director.
"The objective of the merger is to create the largest independent Sage Solutions business in the UK," said Mr Linney.
"As the market continues to get more demanding, only those with a clear and unambiguous focus will prosper," he added.
