CHAPATI-making, Indian stick-dancing and dressing up in saris were just a few of the activities performed by pupils at a Worcester school.
More than 270 four to seven-year-olds at Northwick Manor Infant School, Northwick Road, took part in the activities yesterday as part of a two-day multicultural education event when the children study various faiths and cultures.
The event was due to finish today.
"We are a predominately white school so we thought it was important for the children to learn about all the different cultures and religions and they were fascinated by it," said teacher Rebecca Ely, religious education and multicultural co-ordinator at the school.
